The Roland Philipps Troop
 
 

Since 1935 the Grupo VII, "Roland Philipps" scout troop of Mexico City has had the great responsibility on their shoulders of being named after the captain. It's very likely that, since then, because of the passionate practice of the system created by the captain would be the reason why the spirit of the group lies in the five patrols of the troop. The responsibility that generation after generation falls on the boys has prevailed despite the ups and downs we have had in our old history.
 

During this time we have been able to value the richness of Roland Philipps' philosophy, not underestimating the original idea developed by Lord Baden Powell, although, we are sure about something, scouting wouldn't be the same without Roland's contribution. Our purpose is not convincing anyone, nor motivating an unnecessary controversy, but recovering something lost and share it with the world.
